Just the Facts Education Programme

JTF was founded by students as a labour of love in 1998. It started with a website developed by an art student that won an award in a leading web design publication.

It has grown since then and now consists of materials primarily for schools but also used by medical students.

Just the Facts explores the environment for the embryo and foetus in the womb, its relationship with its mother, and how it develops from conception right through to birth. It discusses advancements in foetal surgery, multiple births and leaves the students with a more in-depth understanding of how they began. Though scientific in nature, personal stories of babies surviving the odds whether inside or outside of the womb give it some relevance to students.

We can visit your school and give a 40 minute presentation on the development of the child in the womb from embryo to foetus to birth. It is an exciting learning opportunity and we leave the students with leaflets, posters and other materials. You can use the booking form on this site to arrange a visit.
