From this week onward, your size is measured from crown to heel (rather than crown to rump).  You’re 26cm long and you’re putting on weight! Swallowing practice continues, and some of the liquid is moved to your bowel, where meconium accumulates.[1]

As the brain and nerve endings continue to develop, you may experiment with your sense of touch.[2]  In this photo the baby is touching her ear.
