Time for the finishing touches!  You weigh more than 2.2kg and are about 45cm long. Your central nervous system is still developing, but your lungs are fully formed. 99 percent of babies born now can survive outside the womb.[1] Your fingernails have reached your fingertips.  The waxy vernix caseosa covering your skin is getting thicker.[2]
